Three Boston Bombing Suspects Arrested
May 01, 2013
Boston police say that they have taken three more suspects into custody in connection with the April 15 bombings at the Boston Marathon.
The Boston Police Department announced the new development on their Twitter account on May 1 and said more details would be provided later.
Boston police spokeswoman Cheryl Fiandaca confirmed the tweet but said questions should be referred to the FBI.
Three people were killed and some 260 injured in the two explosions in Boston.
One suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was later killed on April 19 following a gunfight with police.
His younger brother Dzhokar was subsequently apprehended after a massive manhunt that closed down Boston for a day.
He is now in a prison hospital recovering from injuries he sustained in shootouts with police.
