Iran's military equipment makes sanctions 'ineffective' : commander

Tehran, Sept 21, IRNA -- Vice-Commander of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) General Hossein Salami said Iran's military equipment and production make west's sanctions 'ineffective'.
General Salami, on the sidelines of inauguration ceremony of the sacred defense exhibition here on Tuesday afternoon, told reporters that the road to progress in Iran is being followed adding that the west's confrontation with Iran will have a positive and constructive effect on Iranians' morale and determination.
He said that memoirs of war is a national heritage that should not be forgotten adding that war is a big event which builds the history in a country.
The exhibition dubbed as “ Memoirs of a Friend” started its work on Tuesday. Military equipment like anti-armor guided missiles “ Sa’aqeh 2 “, anti-heavy armor guided missiles “ Toufan”, Shahin Missile, anti-armor guided missiles “ Ra’ad”, tanks, military and defensive machines, different types of military vessels and boats as well as satellite rocket “ Safir” have been displayed in the exhibition.
