Araghchi stresses the need to strengthen Iran-Russia cooperation

Tehran, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation with Russia, focusing specifically on areas such as economics, trade, commerce, culture, and consular affairs.
During a meeting in Tehran on Saturday, Araghchi spoke with Ahmad Heidarian, the newly appointed Consul-General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian city of Astrakhan.
The top Iranian diplomat emphasized the significance of enhancing Iran-Russia relations and highlighted the need to address the concerns of Iranian expatriates.
Before departing for his mission, Heidarian provided a report on his designated region, outlining its existing capabilities and presenting a proposed plan to fulfill his responsibilities in this new role.
