Annotation (DigitalGlobe 13 August 2004) The ISIS Issue Brief suggests that the pair of circular structures near the main building are "appear designed to contain hazardous operations. Although their purpose cannot be discerned from the image, these closed structures may be involved in tests involving shrapnel." While this explanation cannot be disproven, it would seem more probable that they represent air raid shelters for those working in the main building, which would probably accommodate most of the site's staff. Other technical and test areas are located at some distance from this building. |
